Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters…
Genesis.1:2
The spirit of God settles into our hearts, and our bodies become a temple of God living inside us. The spirit of God cleans us from anger, offence and unsettled conflicts, making space for love for God and mercy for people. The Spirit of God is the third component of the Holy Trinity – the Holy Spirit.
The symbols of the Trinity, triunity, exist in all cultures and religions of the world. God is the original basis of life, the Creator; He is integrated. In different religions He may have different names. All great religions in the world are divine by their origin. They were all passed down by God in His revelations in different parts of the world and at different times according to the needs and abilities of people. It is only possible to cognize God through His Envoy. The appearance of God’s Envoys on Earth is so rare that we only know several names: Krishna, Abraham, Zarathustra, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed. Each of them founded a religion and inspired an independent development of a civilization. We all should be like flowers in God’s garden, different but united in God’s eyes. Unity in diversity is the divine harmony of the world.
Unfortunately, misunderstanding of one’s spiritual nature and one’s eternal earthly relationships with God Supreme leads to conflicts between nations. People are individual and differ both by the color of their skin and by the level of their belief in God. The purpose of all religions is to develop love for Him.
The philosophical interpretation of the composition is that the Spirit of God is eternally hovering over us as we are all His creations. It is just that some people approach to understanding Him intuitively, while others are far from Him as they realize everything that is going on with them through the material world. However, atheism is a way to God through the back door.
The symbols of the composition are a Fish, representing water; wings, the symbol of heavenly nature; a human face, which reflects an attempt to see yourself in Him; a long beard, the symbol of divine wisdom. The beard touches a sphere, the sphere touches a cube – this is the connecting line between God, the spiritual world and the material world. Triunity exists inside us as color, shape and sound.
The sculpture is abundant in most complex theological symbols of the Divine Triunity. The clear vertical line presents the unity of the material (the cube), the spiritual (the sphere) and the Divine that combines the three elements in their continuous connection and eternal interrelation. God is fire, the fish is water and the wings are air. Triunity is the basic principle of symbolism of the universe. «In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit...»
