The three-step pyramid is like a prayer, “In the name of the Father, and of the Son and the Holy Spirit”, and the traveler, sitting on it, is holding a torch - a symbol of consecrating the way - in his right hand, and a book - a symbol of knowledge and wisdom - in his other hand.

 Light leads to knowledge. Knowledge leads to wisdom. Wisdom leads to power.

  He is wrapped in a cloak, a symbol of imperial power. His head is turned to the left, facing the coming events. Being at the top of the pyramid, he sees what others can’t see, foreseeing situations, many people are yet to confront.
